The exterior is low maintenance vinyl siding with vinyl double paned windows.

Double car garage both with electric garage door openers. The garage and basement are one space and has an engineered beam across the length of the house, so no poles. This makes for an huge workshop space. I restore old cars and at one time has 4 cars in the basement/garage area.

Beautiful entrance with full side light windows and mission style exterior light. All exterior doors are metal with deadbolts.

New bushes installed last year line the walkway.

Back deck is great for barbecuing and gatherings.

Walk through kitchen comes with all appliances. Kenmore refrigerator, glass cooktop stove, and Whirlpool built-in microwave with exhaust fan are shown in this picture.

Another angle. Note the cabinet door to the left of the refrigerator - this is a pantry area with shelving.

Ceramic tile back splash and floors are in the kitchen. Cabinets are locally built solid maple, not the "builders grade" garbage that is in most homes today. Large pass through gives the kitchen an open feel and is great for entertaining. Whirlpool dishwasher and upgraded kitchen sink faucet also shown.

Livingroom has solid (not laminate, not prefinished) red oak flooring, built in solid maple bookshelves and an cubby built above the ventless gas log fireplace. Marble surrounds the fireplace.  Tracking lighting is made by Tiella.  Note the large floor to ceiling windows let in lots of natural light.

A better view of the fireplace and cubby above. The TV shown in a 32" - as you can see, a HUGE TV would fit in this space.

A better view of the built in solid maple bookshelves. These and all of the cabinets in the home were custom built by a local cabinetmaker.

A view of the pass through from the livingroom to the kitchen.

The hallway. 3/4" thick Shaw laminate flooring recently installed (was carpet originally). To the right is the laundry area behind the bi-fold doors which has ceramic tile that matches the kitchen.

This is the breakfast area between the kitchen and the livingroom. We used it as a reading area since our only table was in the dining room. The floor to ceiling windows gives this area an abundance of natural light. The ceramic tile from the kitchen (which is to the left) extends into this area. The picture is taken from the livingroom.

Classy traditional dining room with red walls and white moldings.  Large windows look out onto the wooded front yard.

The same solid red oak flooring from the livingroom extends into the dining room.

View entering the Master Bedroom. Flooring is Berber carpet.

Lots of natural light from the triple window and a high end ceiling fan recently installed.  The door shown leads to the Master Bath.

The master bedroom has "his and her" closets. The door shown leads to the secondary closet (his). On the other side of the room is a full size walk-in closet (hers).

The door shown leads out into the hallway from the Master Bedroom.

The master bathroom has two glass block (acrylic) windows that give privacy while allowing in lots of natural light. There is both a garden tub and a separate shower.

The master bathroom features dual sinks and solid maple cabinets.

Another view of the tub area in the master bathroom.

View entering the master bathroom. Note the ceramic tile flooring and the track lighting at illuminates the garden tub.

The shower stall with glass door - just to the left of the garden tub.

A better view of the ceramic tile in the master bathroom.

This is the main bathroom, which is at the end of the hallway, and therefore conveniently located to the other two bedrooms as well as to guests.

Ceramic tile flooring in the main bathroom.

Another view of the main bathroom - note the solid maple vanity.

Another view of the solid maple vanity.

Not shown are the other two bedrooms. They are on the front side of the house and therefore have the taller floor to ceiling windows which let in an abundance of natural light. They both have Berber carpet (the same as shown in the Master Bedroom) The first bedroom has two windows as well as crown moldings. The second has one window.

Energy Efficiency / Utilities Data

Since this is a newer home, it has the latest specifications built in for Good Cents standards on energy efficiency.  T he HVAC, appliances etc are all electric. The only thing in the house that uses natural gas is the fireplace (which we have never turned on). All fixtures have compact fluorescent bulbs except for the track lighting.

The water bill ran us from $12-$17 per month. Trash pickup is about $16 per month (Baxter Garbage).  If you choose not to turn on the natural gas (which only runs the fireplace), you can use the data in this section to figure pretty closely what your utilities will run.

As far as phone/cable goes, cable is Comcast and high speed Internet is available. Phone is AT&T and (last I checked) all speeds of DSL are available at this address.

The below chart shows electricity usage and costs the last year we lived in the home. Obviously, your bills will vary based on your thermostat setting, number of people living in the home, etc. To assist with energy conservation, the home has a programmable digital thermostat installed.

We are also open to a Lease to Own arrangement. No up front costs or down payments. You would get purchase credit for a percentage of the monthly rent you pay (similar to the principal that you'd be getting credit for on a mortgage amortization). At some point in the future, you secure your own financing and we subtract that purchase credit amount from the sales price. If signing a lease to start February 1st, 2009, we'd lock the sales price at $145,000. Financially, this would be nearly identical to you paying a mortgage each month - you'd gain the same equity, both from principal paid as well as any appreciation in home value.  Beware of landlords who require "downpayments" in their rent-to-own schemes - if you move, you lose that money.

The home is also currently for sale outright for $149,900.
